Samsung R&D Institute Ukraine (SRK) was established in Kyiv in 2009. The key technologies of SRK, which are strengthening its technological development to enhance the competitiveness of Samsung products, are security, AI and AR/VR areas. 

SRK is composed of prominent professionals and is working on the study of intelligence security, computer vision, context-aware intelligent service etc. As part of the industrial-educational cooperation and CSV activity, SRK positively cooperates with local universities and schools and creates high-level education activities, investing in the future of IT sphere in Ukraine.
