Requirements:

Experience in automation testing (more than 4 years);

Good knowledge and experience in Python (more than 4 years);

Good knowledge and experience in Java or C# or Go (more than 3 years);

Good knowledge in Computer Science and Computing Theory:

Code testing practices;

Security patterns;

DevOps best practices;

Understanding of network interactions, protocols, conventions (REST);

Commercial experience with:

Creation of automation tests;

Pytest (more than 1 year);

unit and integration test experience (more than 2 years);

Docker;

Continuous Integration tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins, Gitlab Pipeline);

DevOps practices;

Version control systems (GIT);

Experience with:

Ability to systematically learn and work in existing codebase and subsystems;

Troubleshooting, profiling, and debugging;

Different delivery methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Agile, Kanban);

Code Review process;

Refactoring;

Upper-Intermediate English;


Desirable

Certifications on:

Cloud Computing Platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure);

Practical commercial experience with:

• GitHub and Github actions;
• Cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure);
• Kubernetes;
• Terraform;
• using OpenAPI generator;

Preferences:

Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, Java, C#, Bash.

Responsibilities:

Building pytest/python based API integration tests

Utilizing an open-source project to generate tests for basic verification of APIs

Work with the rest of the team to help automate testing in other areas of the CI/CD pipeline

Building and maintaining automated testing frameworks

Test data and test environment preparations

Making a conclusion and reporting about the stability of the product under test

Communicate with PM, PO, other engineers, architects, and other colleagues and stakeholders;

Working in an international distributed team;

Participation in delivering the product roadmap, plannings;
To use high coding standards, testing best practices.
