For the past three weeks, Direct Recovery Associates has been calling me multiple times a day, sometimes before 8 AM. They always ask me to "verify my identity" before they'll say what it's about, which feels like a scam tactic. The calls are stressing me out, but I don't want to engage if it's not legitimate. I was looking for advice and found this resource on stopping debt collection calls. Has anyone else experienced this with them? Did ignoring the calls work, or did it make things worse?
